For "The Salt of the Earth," a documentary exploring the life and work of Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado, I had the privilege of joining a talented team as a VFX Colorist. The film, directed by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado, garnered prestigious accolades, including the Special Prize at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard category. It was also recognized with the Gilde Film Prize as Best Documentary at the 14th Film Art Fair in Leipzig.
Furthermore, "The Salt of the Earth" gained international acclaim, receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary in 2015 and winning a César for Best Documentary Film later that same year. These accolades are a testament to the meticulous and compelling storytelling presented in this documentary.
